Kathryn Leigh Clores, MT-BC (she | her | hers) is a board-certified music therapist and the founder of Chatra Music Therapy, a component of Kathryn Clores Therapy Services, LLC. Her clinical work specializes in behavioral health intervention with groups and individuals. Kathryn has extensive experience working with psychiatric and chemically dependent populations. She has provided services in group home and adolescent residential settings, state and private psychiatric hospitals with voluntary, involuntary and forensic patients, in special needs academic settings and in memory care.
Kathryn holds degrees in Classical Music Performance and Music Therapy and is a current Master of Social Work student with a concentration in Mental Health & Trauma. Kathryn has worked with adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, behavioral struggles and complex trauma. With her clients, Kathryn provides psychoeducation on how leisure awareness skills can support them in their wellness plan, as well as the knowledge of how physiological symptoms can be stress-induced and how to address them through therapeutic intervention.
In her personal time, Kathryn spends time outdoors. She is a regular practitioner of yoga and meditation, enjoys the New England region and the comfort of nature.
